Wild elephants destroy plantation in Kadaba

Subrahmanya, Nov 24, 2022: A herd of  wild elephants went on rampage in a plantation at Santhyadka in Noojibaltila of Kadaba taluk  late night on Tuesday and have caused extensive damage.

The plantation belonged to Sudhaker S, Prasad and Lakshmana. Over 300 areca trees, 10 coconut trees and plantaintrees were damaged and the loss  has been estimated at several lakhsof rupees.

Subrahmanya Range Forest Officer Raghavendra, PanjaRange Forest Officer Manjunatha and others visited the spot.
