Udupi, Sept 12, 2025: The Excise Department on Thursday destroyed 2.794 kg of ganja seized in nine separate cases at the biomedical waste management unit of M/s Ayush Enviortec Pvt Ltd, located in the Nandikur Industrial Area, Padubidri.

The disposal was supervised by the Drug Disposal Committee and carried out in an environmentally safe manner.

Mangaluru Division Joint Excise Commissioner Balakrishna C H, Udupi Deputy Excise Commissioner Bindushree P, Mangaluru Deputy Excise Commissioner T M Srinivas, Udupi Excise Superintendent Ashok H, and Satish Nayak, Marketing Manager of M/s Ayush Enviortec Pvt Ltd, were present on the occasion.
