Mangaluru, April 7, 2024: District-in-Charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao voiced his optimism that the catalyst for political transformation would emanate from Coastal Karnataka.

Addressing a consultative gathering comprising representatives from diverse communities, such as Gatti, Kulal, Vishwakarma, Mogaveera, Devadiga, Christian, Brahmin, Balyaya, GSB, SC, ST, Jogi, Rama Kshatriya, Ganiga, Savitha, and Madivala, convened by the District Congress on Sunday, he affirmed, "The government is committed to the welfare of all communities. A tide of change is sweeping the coast, bolstering our confidence. Measures will be taken to ensure equitable justice for all."

Minister Rao emphasized the significance of exercising the voting right and highlighted the necessity of raising awareness among the populace.

Expressing gratitude for the party’s decision to nominate a representative from the backward classes for the Lok Sabha election, Congress candidate Padmaraj R pledged, "I will faithfully represent the aspirations of the people, upholding the trust bestowed upon me. Congress stands firm for social justice, and if elected, I will staunchly advocate for the interests of the backward classes."

He further stated, "The Congress, committed to social justice, will conduct similar gatherings with officials every three months," and reiterated his dedication to fortifying Mangaluru.
