Vittal cops arrest mobile shop burglars

Vittal, Dec 28, 2013 : The Vittal police have arrested two mobile shop thieves at Kashimutt near Vittal on December 27, Friday. The two were trapped while they were riding a stolen Pulsar bike.
The arrested have been identified as Nasir alias Mohammad Nasir (14) of Pajir Jogibettu near Konaje and Saleem (20) of Mavalli village in Uttara Kannada district.
The two were spotted by Vittal SI Madhava Koodlu and his personnel on the Kasargod road here and were intercepted. The police who found that they did not have any documents regarding their two-wheeler took them to custody.
Police have seized the bike, a mobile phone and a cash of Rs 1000 from the two. It is learnt, they have admitted that they were using as stolen bike and had have also committed thefts in mobile shops in Panambur, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Honnavar and other places.
The two have been produced before the court.
