Mangaluru, Feb 25, 2026: A vehicle traffic survey will be conducted on State Highways and Major District Roads under the jurisdiction of the Karnataka Public Works Department (PWD). The road traffic survey for the year 2026 will be carried out for two days, from 6 am on February 26 to 6 am on February 28.


Traffic survey


In Dakshina Kannada district, around 139 counting stations have been identified on State Highways and Major District Roads for the survey by the PWD. The Executive Engineer of the Mangaluru Division of the Public Works Department has, in a release, requested vehicle drivers and the public to cooperate for the successful conduct of the traffic survey.
