Ullal, Nov 11, 2025: Ullal police have arrested three persons, including a medical student, in connection with two separate drug peddling cases reported at Bagambila Ground in Kotekar village and Gandi in Permannur village on November 9.
Police seized a total of 1.511 kg of ganja valued at Rs 59,300, along with two weighing scales, two mobile phones, and a scooter allegedly used in the illegal trade.
One of the accused, Mohammad Nigarees (22), a resident of Dhule, Maharashtra, and a BAMS student at a private Ayurvedic college, had reportedly brought ganja from his hometown and sold it locally to fund a lavish lifestyle.

Shakeeb had allegedly sourced the contraband from one Fabeen of B.C. Road. Police seized 420 grams of ganja and Rs 6,000 in cash from the duo.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Ullal Police Inspector Virupaksha Swamy and led by Sub-Inspector Siddappa Narnur.
