Udupi: Youth dies by suicide after leaving death note

Udupi, Mar 13, 2026: A youth working as a cook died by suicide after leaving behind a death note at Salmara in Shankarpura.
The deceased has been identified as Gautham Poojary. Unmarried, he was working as a head cook in a catering service. Reportedly distressed due to personal reasons, he ended his life in a room near the catering shed.
The exact reason for the suicide is not yet known. A case has been registered at the Shirva Police Station.
