Mangaluru, October 20, 2026: The Mobile Dental Van of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS, Nitte DU, was inaugurated by Mr. Vishal Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte DU on 20th October 2026.
It was held in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Moodithaya, Vice Chancellor; and Prof. (Dr.) Harsha Halahalli, Registrar, Nitte DU, Prof. Dr. Sateesh Kumar Bhandary , vice president (ISR and CRL), Nitte DU and senior functionaries of the university along with the Principal, Vice Principal, HOD, faculty, staff, and students of ABSMIDS.

The initiative aims to extend accessible dental care, preventive services, and oral health education to underserved communities, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to improving community oral health
