Udupi: Willing to contest LS polls if party wishes so, says Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi, Jan 30, 2024: Former minister Pramod Madhwaraj has said he was ready to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency if the party wishes so.

Speaking to reporters here, Pramod also said he was also willing to fully support any other candidate the party chooses for the constituency.

He said he has already travelled various places of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru and had interacted with many party workers and leaders.

He said the fishermen community has reposed faith in him and wants him to contest from the constituency. He also said he has already told the party leaders that he was an aspirant for the party ticket.
