Two die when bike collides with bus at Mulky

Mangalore, March 1, 2012 : Two young people died when their bike collided with a bus at Mulky on Feb 29 Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

The deceased are Ashwin Peris (21) and Steven Cutinha (21). Ashwin was the son of Albert and Felcy Peris and the brother of Denver Peris of Kulshekar. Steven Melwyn Cutinha was the elder son of Stany and Molly Cutinha and brother of Sujay and Sanjan of Bejai.

Ashwin was riding his bike with Steven on the pillion when they collided with a bus. They were going to Mangalore from Udupi while the bus was on its way from Mangalore to Kundapur. According to eyewitnesses, it was the bus driver’s fault.

The two were engineering students at St. Joseph’s College in Vamanjoor.

The bodies are now in Shrinivas Hospital, Suratkal and a case has been registered at the Mulky Police Station.
