Belthangady: Agrileaf Gifts Five Tata Nexon EVs to Employees as Deepavali Bonus

Belthangady, Nov 8, 2026: In a gesture of appreciation for employee dedication and commitment, Belthangady-based Agrileaf Exports has gifted five Tata Nexon electric cars, worth approximately ₹20 lakh each, to its senior employees as a Deepavali present.

The five cars, collectively valued at around ₹1 crore, were presented during the company’s Deepavali celebration, Agrileaf Utsava-2026, held at Nidle village on Friday. The employees had left jobs in France, Dubai and Bengaluru to return to their hometown and work with the rural-based enterprise.

The recipients are Shyamnandan Hillemane (Business Analyst), Vignesh P (HR Manager), Chethan NS (Production Manager), Jagannath P (Operations Manager) and Shreenath Abhyankar (Technical Head).

Two other employees, Mithun and Santhosh, were presented with Ather Rizta electric scooters worth approximately ₹2 lakh each. Several other employees were also honoured for their contributions to the company’s growth. Earlier, in August, the company had gifted electric scooters to some of its employees.

Agrileaf Exports manufactures biodegradable tableware using naturally fallen areca palm sheaths, offering an eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic products. The company sources raw materials from around 10,000 farmer families, providing an additional source of income to growers while creating rural employment opportunities, particularly for women.

With a workforce of over 320 employees, Agrileaf exports its products to more than 20 countries, establishing itself as a prominent exporter of areca palm leaf tableware from the region.
