Tulu commercial movie Dibbana in the making

Mangalore, April 21: Krishnaprasad, the winner of the state award, who wrote the story of Kadala Mage, the Tulu movie, is now preparing for a brand new Tulu commercial movie Dibbana, which will introduce Bollywood actor Pritham Suvarna to Tulu speakers.

The movie, which is the 42nd Tulu movie, will move into production in May. The shooting will commence in the first week of May, and the scenes will be shot in Madikeri, Udupi, Bangalore, Manipal, and Mangalore. Krishnaprasad wants to illustrate Tulu culture and traditions in his movie and expects it to run for at least 100 days. Vishwanath Mumbai has agreed to be the producer of this commercial movie.

Dibbana is a musical love story, geared toward the younger generation. Six songs have already been recorded in Mumbai under the direction of S. P. Chandrakanth, who was the music director for Kadala Mage.

The cast comprises Sandalwood actress Roopika as the heroine, Renukumar as the cameraman, Salim Puttur as the art director, Akul as the choreographer, and Madhu Suratkal as the lyrics writer. Krishnaprasad says that Vinaya Prasad, Raviteja, Jayjagadish, Nithushree Mangalore, Suresh Mangalore, and many other Udupi and Mangalore based actors will play a role in this commercial movie.
