Mangalore, Sept. 30, 2012: KMC Hospital and Corporation Bank jointly organized the 8th World Heart Day Run at 7:00 a.m. on September 30, Sunday. Thousands of people took part in the marathon, which began at TMA Pai International Convention Centre and ended at KMC Hospital in Jyothi.
The dignitaries at the event were MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, cricketer Sunil Joshi, MLA Krishna J. Palemar, Police Commissioner Manish Karbikar, Corporation Bank MD and Chairman Ajai Kumar, KMC Dean Dr. M. V. Prabhu, KMC Hospital COO Pramod Alagharu, and others.

The dignitaries marked the beginning of the marathon by presenting a torch to Subrahmanya K. M.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Krishna Palemar, and Mangalore Police Commissioner Manish Karbikar addressed the gathering on the occasion.
