Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan held 5 drives on April 9, Sunday

Mangaluru, April 11, 2017: The 27th week of 5 cleanliness drives (322 to 326) of the 400 Abhiyans were organized by Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru on April 9, Sunday, the details of the areas are :

Pandeshwara – The employees of Forum Fiza mall joined in the cleanliness drive at Pandeshwara. In the presence of convener of the Abhiyan, Swami Ekagamyanandaji, Sri Manoj Singh Sri Sunil K S jointly flagged off the drive. About 100 volunteers were divided into four groups. The area opposite Corporation Bank and the circle, path leading from Nehru Circle to A B Shetty Circle.

The other areas named, Karnataka Polytechnic, Padil, Vaidyanath Nagar, Ganeshpura, Swacch Manas Awareness Programmes,

MRPL, NITTE patronized this 3 rd phase of Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan.

One of the horrible area to be cleaned is the State bank bus stand . Though there are public toilets they urinate and the foul smell comes out of the place

Though Ramakrishna Mission has taken up the task of maintaining the cleanliness of the city . Still some go on with sticking bills on the roadside , co-operation is very important
