KSRTC launches bus services from Mangaluru Junction Railway Station

Mangaluru, June 13, 2026: The Mangaluru Division of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched city bus services from Mangaluru Junction (Padil) Railway Station, fulfilling a long-pending demand of railway passengers and the general public.

The initiative has been introduced by the Mangaluru-3 Unit of the KSRTC Mangaluru Division to provide seamless connectivity from the railway station to various parts of the city and surrounding areas.


KSRTC launches bus services from Mangaluru Junction Railway Station

The bus schedule is as follows:

From Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to Kateel:


Buses depart at 6:55 am and 10:45 am. The services operate via Kuloor, Surathkal, Chokkabettu, Katipalla, Shibaroor and Balavinagudde.

From Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to Bokkapatna:


Buses are available at 8:45 am, 10:15 am, 11:45 am, 1:30 pm, 3:20 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm. These buses operate via Kankanady, Jyothi, PVS, Lalbagh, Sultan Battery, Amrita Vidyalayam and Bolar.

From Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to State Bank:


Services operate at 1:00 pm, 1:25 pm, 2:40 pm, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. The buses travel via Padil, Maroli, Nanthoor, Kadri and Jyothi.

From Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to Kodikal:


Buses are available at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 9:50 am, 11:00 am, 12:15 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. The route covers Padil, Maroli, Kankanady Market, Mallikatte, KPT, Lalbagh, Urwa Store and Kottara.

Senior Divisional Control Officers of the KSRTC Mangaluru Division have appealed to the public to make use of this new transport facility.
