The deceased has been identified as Bhima, a native of Bagalkot who was residing in a rented house at Panjimogaru in Kavoor. The injured are his co-workers Sangamesh and Manjunath, also natives of Bagalkot and currently staying at Panjimogaru. They have been admitted to a nearby private hospital for treatment.

Mukka-Accident

According to reports, Bhima and his two colleagues were returning home on a motorcycle along National Highway 66 after finishing work. While attempting to overtake a heavily loaded lorry from the left side, the motorcycle reportedly came into slight contact with the vehicle, causing the riders to lose control and fall onto the road.

It is learnt that the rear wheels of the lorry ran over Bhima’s head, killing him on the spot. The other two riders suffered injuries in the accident.
