Srilankan band to present fund-raiser Christmas show

Mangalore, Dec 21, 2011: Black Velvet, the popular Srilankan music band, which created waves at an international level in the late eighties, will present the Black Velvet Winter Christmas Dance in Mangalore at Ladies’ Club on Dec 25.

The event is jointly organized by Magnum Intergrafiks and Health Streak Foundation and hosted by Ladies Club. It will comprise ingredients such as high energy, youthfulness, experience, aggression, and vibe.

The music lovers of Mangalore will be treated to lively numbers, Christmas carols, and popular Srilankan music. The event is based on the theme of “dancing for a cause” and the tickets cost Rs. 1000 per couple, Rs. 500 for an individual, and Rs. 300 for a child. Tickets are available at the Mangalore Ladies Club office.

The funds raised will be used for the benefit of poor children.
