Souharda Christmas 2011 held at Milagres Hall

Mangalore, Dec 7, 2011 : The Mangalore Christian Council, MDEC, and the Karnataka Christian Forum for Human Rights (western zone) organized Sauharda Christmas 2011 at Milagres Hall on Dec 6 Tuesday. Rev. Dr. John S. Sadananda, the bishop of CSI, Karnataka Southern Diocese, delivered the benedictory address.

The bishop spoke about the immortality of Jesus Christ, about his power to unite the entire world, he urged people to focus on peace and harmonious living during this Christmas season.

Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore, spread the message of Jesus Christ in his address.

Christmas messages were also delivered by religious leaders such as Dr. Lawrence Mukkuzhi, Yakub Mar Eliyas, and Dr. Geevarghese.

A CD of devotional songs was also released on this occasion.

Dr. Honeymol Cabral, the principal of Karnataka Theological College, delivered the welcome address, Dr. Frederick Anil Kumar proposed the vote of thanks, and Suneetha and Mervin Manuel were the MCs of the event.
