Mangaluru, June 21, 2024: Despite a slight decrease in monsoon rains in Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday, a red alert has been issued for June 21.
In Mangalore city and surrounding rural areas, overcast skies and sunny weather were observed. Heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is forecasted for the coast on June 21.
Maximum Rainfall in Mulki
As of Thursday morning, the highest recorded rainfall in Dakshina Kannada district was 23.5 mm each in Mangalore and Mulki. The average daily rainfall was 22.3 mm.
Other recorded rainfall measurements were: Belthangady 21.3 mm, Bantwal 23.3 mm, Puttur 20.6 mm, Sullia 21.5 mm, Moodbidri 20.2 mm, Kadaba 20.1 mm, and Ullal 20.1 mm.
