Prameela death case : Associations demand thorough probe

 Puttur, March 26, 2013  : Vijaykumar Sorake, a social activist of Puttur, has demanded thorough probe into the recent suspicious death of a young girl hailing from Dolpady in Puttur,  near the Kadri Park in Mangalore. It may be mentioned here that Prameela, was found dead hanging from a tree on March 19.


prameela 1Sorake strongly felt that  Prameela had not committed suicide but it was a pre-planned murder. He demanded that  all accused in the case be arrested within a week failing which a massive protest would be staged in the town with the co-operation of various organizations.


 Sorake who spoke to reporters here, said Prameela, daughter of Ammu Poojari of Dolpadi in Kaniyoor village, had no problems that would force her to take an extreme step like suicide. He body bore injury marks and there is a strong suspicion that she might have been raped and then murdered.   He said an appeal would also be made to  the SP to order for a thorough probe.


Hariprasad, brother of the deceased Prameela, AV Mohan, President of Charvaka Hitharakshana Samithi,   Kusumadhar and others were present.

its a real shame that cops didnt feel the need to look into the matter themselves , hopefully the probe uncovers the truth .
