Police arrests six students for defaming doctor in Whatsapp, Facebook

Kasargod, Oct 18, 2013: Police arrested six students for defaming a doctor of a private hospital via Whatsapp and Facebook.
The arrested are Asans Shabir (18) resident of Vidhyanagar Chettunguli, Nehla Mohiddin (18) from Chemnad Aramangana, Nabil Musil (18) from Uduma and other three students are below18 years.
The students made allegation in Watsapp and Facebook against doctor of conducting hysterectomies to all his female patients without their notice.
The arrested are booked with section 67, under Information technology act.
According to the police, further investigation will be conducted in this case and more people involved will be arrested soon.
