Mangalore, oct 23, 2013 : In an incident that invited anger and smiles too, a man who dared to peep into a bathroom, landed himself inside a well  when he was chased by people. The incident was reported from near Kotekar post office on October 22, Tuesday night.

 

The man identified as Umesh  caught the attention of locals  when he tried to peep into a bathroom. Sensing danger he immediately took to his heels and finding no other way jumped into a well.

But for his good luck, his swimming  knowledge helped him and he swam in the well water until the fire brigade men rescued him almost an hour later.

Anyway his act landed him not only inside a well but also behind bars.

It is learnt, he was thrashed by public  in a similar case in the past too.
