Mangaluru, Sep 22, 2016: City Mayor Harinath inaugurated Pay and Use Public Toilet facility at Service Bus Stand on September 22, Thursday. The Toilets which have bathing facilities too have been renovated at a cost of Rs 6 lakh by Aastha Foundation.



Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor stressed the need to keep the public toilets clean. The Aastha Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining the toilets, he added.
Kavitha Sanil, Chairperson of Standing Committee on Health said there were plans to renovate 23 public toilets in the city.
