New Kannada movie Karthik to be released in mid-January

Mangalore, Dec 18: The Kannada movie Karthik is soon to be released at all theatres in the second week of January.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Karthik is an action movie with a romantic twist, said Devdas Kapikad, the actor and dramatist. Addressing reporters at a press conference held at Press Club, he said that Karthik, a Mangalore-born actor has played the lead role in this movie and has done an excellent job. He has already achieved fame owing to this film. His first movie was “Yuva,” a popular Kannada movie. 

The new movie, which is meant for the entire family, has been directed by Sathish Shetty of Mangalore. The actor Karthik was specially trained for 4 months in the mixed martial arts in Singapore for this movie.

The cameraman is Manjunath B. Nayak. Archana Gupta, who played in the movie Circus, is the heroine; and Devdas Kapikad has played a comedy role in this movie.

Sharmila Kapikad, wife of Devdas Kapikad; Director Sathish Shetty, and Vijay, Karthik’s father, were present during the press conference.
