Nejaru murder case: In-charge Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar meets bereaves family, assures speedy justice

Udupi, Nov 17, 2023: Udupi District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Women and Child Development Laxmi Hebbalkar on November 17, Friday met the family members of the woman and her three children who were brutally murdered at their house at Nejaru last Sunday. The minister consoled the grieving father and son and assured that justice will be done in the case.

 

 

Later speaking to reporters, she appreciated the swift move with which the Police Department nabbed the accused. She said the family of the deceased have sought quick hearing in the case through a fast-track court.

She said she could not arrive as soon as the incident took place as she was pre-occupied in Belagavi but said she was in constant touch with the family and the Police Department.

Noor Mohammad who lost his wife and three children in this brutal case of murder said the District in-charge Minister has assured to consider their request for a hearing through a fast track-court and also to ensure justice in the case.
