Nitte, Nov 6, 2011: Air Vice Marshall Ramesh Karnik, the director of Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, inaugurated a 3-day tehnical fest called Tech Nidarshan 2011 at NMAM Institute of Technology at Nitte on Friday.
Speaking in appreciation of engineers, he urged students to become good administrators with excellent technical knowledge, develop positive mental attitude in life, and achieve success. He also spoke on topics such as problem solving, maintaining human relationships, and computer skills.


Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni, the principal, said in his presidential address that engineers are thinkers, creators, and blessed people with the ability to create the facilities they require. He also spoke of the need to reform technical education by organizing technical fests to give students a chance to showcase their talents.
Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, the vice principal, delivered the welcome address; Dr. Yuvaraj B. N., the coordinator spoke on Tech Nidarshan; Ashwin Soman introduced the chief guest; and Astral Quadres proposed the vote of thanks.
As many as 1200 students from 50 engineering colleges across India have registered for this event.
