Movie star Ramya thanks God for Congress victory

Udupi, Apr 1, 2012: Ramya, the member of the Youth Congress and movie star, visited Shri Mahisha Mardini Temple on March 31 Saturday to thank the deity for blessing the Congress with victory in the recently held Udupi – Chikmagalur Lok Sabha by polls.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the victory is the victory of those who had voted for the Congress. Calling it a “victory against corruption,” she said that she had vowed to express her gratitude to the deity of the Congress won and that she had visited the temple to fulfill her vow.

Further, Ramya said that the Congress victory was because of the joint efforts of the Youth Congress and the Congress leaders.

She also visited Shree Babbuswamy Temple in Udupi, accompanied by Congress leaders Geetha Shet, Ramesh Kanchan, Amrith Shenoy, Pramod Madhwaraj, and Bhaskar Kidiyoor.
