Mangaluru: Revised auto fares come into effect

Mangaluru, Dec 02, 2022: Autorickshaw fares have been revised in Mangaluru with effect from December 1, Thursday. The minimum fare is Rs 35 for the first one and a half kilometers followedby Rs 20  for every next kilometer.

 

While there will be no waiting charge for the first 15 minutes, it would be Rs 5 for every 15 minutes after that.  Luggage upto 20 kg will not be charged, while any additional luggage will have to be paid at the rate of Rs 5 per 10 kg.

 Between 10 pm and 5 am the fare one and a  half times more than the usual fare can be charged. The meters of the autorickshaws must be adjusted accordingly through the Weights and Measures Department and sealed, the DC has said.
