Mangaluru, Jan 28, 2024: Suresha (44), a resident of Kollur, tragically lost his life after mistakenly ingesting rat poison, believing it to be his prescribed medicine for liver disease.

This unfortunate incident occurred on January 21. Following initial first aid at Kundapur government hospital, he was subsequently transferred to Wenlock hospital in Mangaluru for more advanced treatment. Later, on January 23, he was moved to a private hospital.

Despite efforts, Suresha succumbed to the poisoning on January 25.
