Mangalore, May 9, 2015 :  In a broad daylight murder, a man was brutally assaulted and killed by a gang of four assailants  at Kadri on May 9 Friday morning.

The deceased is Mudipu Anish. He is said to be a rowdy sheeter wanted in several criminal cases. A personal enmity is suspected to be the reason for the murder.

It is said  the assailants who arrived by bikes attacked Anish who was standing near an Innova car  with a friend. Though the friend tried to prevent the assailants  they  threatened him and attacked Anish with machetes and knives. Anish who was lying in a pool of blood was taken to AJ Hospital where he died.

Kadri police are investigating the case.
