Lokayukta police arrest RFO and seize property worth crores

Mangalore, July 22: The Lokayukta Police arrested Raghava Patali, the Belthangady Venur Range Forest Officer (RFO), at his house in Derebail Konchady and seized his property worth crores on July 22 Friday.

The officials seized Rs. 24 lakh, gold worth Rs 7 lakhs and seized a maruti 800 car, an alto car and scooty and many bank accounts from the officials.

Reportedly, Mr. Patali, who was working as a forest guard, got promoted to the post of RFO, in a surprisingly short span of time.

Lokayukta SP Jagamayyanavar, Udaya Naik, and other officials conducted the raid.
