Mangalore, Dec 19, 2011 : The second Lancy Musical Nite of this year was held at Don Bosco Hall on Dec 18, and a large number of people attended. Roshan D’Silva was the MC.

The show was presented by Anita Samson, Rony Crasta, Dr. Prashanth Raj, Kenny, Vivi Santos, Shyna, Kenny, Lenita, Joseph Mathaias, and others. The comedy show was presented by Jerry and Joseph and the dance show was presented Naach Sobhann troupe. The music was provided by Ramiro of Goa, the noted music director.

The show was held under the banner of Catholic Sabha Kelrai, under the leadership of Alfred Bennis, who organizes such events annually during the Christmas season.

Fr. Stany Goveas, the parish priest of Rosario Cathedral, was the chief guest of the event. Fr. Johan Vaz, the parish priest of Kelarai; Walter Nandalike, the editor-in-chief of Daijiworld; Melwyn D’Cunha, the chairman of MCC Bank; Louis Pinto, the coordinator of Mandd Sobhann; Jossy Rodrigues and Alban Menezes of Kelrai, and others were the guests of honor. Alfred Bennis was also on the dais. Ignatius Fernandes Kelarai was the MC of the felicitation program.

Lancy Noronha’s twin music albums were released on this occasion. Moga Sagor was released by Fr. Stany Goveas and Mory Mai, a devotional album, was released by Lancy’s father.

Dubai-based entrepreneur Joseph Mathaias, who usually sponsors Konkani cultural and literary events in Mangalore and in the Gulf, was honored on behalf of Lancy Noronha.
