The Mangalore rural police immediately blocked the area and began diverting the traffic coming from the NH13, NH17, and NH48.

The stock of LPG within the tanker was removed only 3 hours after the tanker fell on its side. An empty tanker was brought to the scene and the LPG was pumped from the capsized tanker into the empty one. This continued till 7 a.m. on Wednesday. However, the tanker will be removed from the scene only at 9 a.m.

Fortunately, nobody got hurt in the incident. Reportedly, the tanker capsized because of the rashness and the negligence of the driver. It was proceeding from New Mangalore Port to Chennia through Bangalore.

The police have registered a case.
