Kundapur: Biker killed in horrific NH-66 crash at Thekkatte junction; incident caught on CCTV

Kundapur, Jun 4, 2026: A motorcyclist lost his life in a horrific road accident involving a bike and a jeep at the busy Thekkatte junction on National Highway 66 on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh, a resident of Koti Poojary’s house near Manuru Jattigeshwara Daivasthana.
According to reports, the accident occurred at around 9.47 p.m. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed at the highway junction, revealing the severity of the collision.
Personnel from the Kote Police Station rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. A case has been registered, and further inquiries are underway.
