Mangalore, Aug 7, 2013 : The Mangalore unit of the ABVP burnt the effigy of the Pakistan Prime Minister at Padua on August 6, Tuesday as part of its protest condemning the killing of five Indian soldiers by Pak army.Hundreds of students participated in the protest and raised slogans against Pakistan.



K Ramesh, State ABVP secretary described the killings of Indian soldiers as inhuman and added Pakistan was only inviting India for a war by doing so. He said the failure of the Indian government to give a befitting reply to Pak on earlier such occasions, has led to the recent incident. The army should be given full power to tackle the situation, he said and added there should be no politics when it comes to the defence of the nation.
