Kasargod: Woman found dead in well near Manjeshwar

Kasargod, September 5, 2025: The body of a woman was found in a well at Miyapadavu Adkadaguri near Manjeshwar.
The deceased has been identified as Irene D’Souza (60) of Adkadaguri.
Irene, who had gone to bed on Wednesday night, was found missing when family members woke up in the morning. A search was conducted, during which her body was discovered in the well located in the house compound.
Fire and rescue personnel rushed to the spot and retrieved the body. Manjeshwar police visited the site and conducted an inquiry.
