Karavali Utsav to be held from December 21

Mangaluru, December 10, 2024: A meeting held at the DC office on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan decided to hold Karavali Utsav in Mangaluru from December 21.

The event will be inaugurated at the Karavali Utsav grounds and will showcase the rich cultural splendor of the coastal district. As part of the event a beach festival will be held at Panambur/Tannirbavi beach on December 28 and 29. On January 4 and 5, a Yuva Utsav will be held while there will be a Kite Festival on January 17 and 18. There will also be a food fest as part of Karavali Utsav, he said and added that a River Festival will be organized at Harekala.

Various committees have been formed for the successful conduct of the Karavali Utsav, he informed.

ZP CEO Anand K, DCP Siddarth Goyal, Additional DC G Santosh Kumar, MUDA Commissioner Noor Jahan and others were present.
