Mangaluru, April 24, 2025: A conductor of a KSRTC bus was taken into custody by the Konaje police on the charges of behaving inappropriately with a young woman who had fallen asleep while travelling in the Mangaluru-Mudipu route bus.

The arrested conductor is Pradeep of Bagalkote. The incident took place on Wednesday when the conductor tried to touch the woman inappropriately. A fellow passenger captured the incident on his mobile phone. As the video went viral, the police swung into action and took the conductor into custody.

Further investigations are in progress.
