Vittal, Aug 12, 2013: Former Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde has called upon the youth to be courageous enough to boycott the corrupt persons in the society.
He was delivering a talk on ‘Degradation of social values’ held at the Suvarna Ranga Mandir of Vittal Pre-University College on August 11, Sunday. The programme was organized by the Vittal Rotary Club.

Continuing, Justice Hegde said youth are the real assets of the nation who should be given the reins of the nation. The society can progress only when people take up cudgels against corruption, he added.
The former Lokayukta also interacted with students, journalists and representatives of various organizations on the occasion.
To a query from a student regarding the funds amassed in Swiss Bank, Justice Hegde said people need not pay taxes for 20 years if the amount in Swiss Bank is brought back to India.
Bhasker Shetty, President of Rotary Club presided over the function.
