Mangaluru, Aug 8,2016: Jet Airways Aug 7, Sunday launched its direct flight to Sharjah from MIA, Mangaluru International Airport. A hundred and fifty eight passengers were on the maiden flight from Mangaluru at 9.30 am, arrival Sharjah is 11.45 am (local time).
On it’s out ward leg it will leave Sharjah at 12.45 pm (local time) and arrive MIA, Mangaluru Airport at 5.55 pm IST.
This is the third flight of Jet Airways to the United Arab Emirates from Mangaluru. The Jet Airways had started its direct flight to Dubai in 2013 and Abu Dhabi in 2015.
The addition of this new service will improve Jet Airways’ offering to the Gulf market, further strengthening the airline’s growing network and significantly enhance connectivity for guests. Additionally, with a large number of Indians travelling from Mangaluru to Gulf, Jet Airways has expanded the connectivity options from various cities across India to Gulf.

The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800NG, (Next Generation) aircraft on this route. The Jet Airways currently operates 11 daily direct flights from India each to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
