JD(S) supremo exudes confidence of victory of Bava in Mangaluru North

Mangaluru, May 02, 2023: JD(S) Supremo and former prime minister H D Devegowda who visited Mangaluru North Constituency on May 1, Monday, exuded confidence that the party candidate B A Moidin Bava would get the support of the voters of the constituency.

Speaking to reporters, Deve Gowda said the JD(S) gave ticket to Bava to contest from the constituency after he was deprived of a ticket by the Congress leaders. He said the development works which Bava initiated during his tenure as MLA of the constituency would earn him support this time.

He said farmers of the state were greatly relieved when HD Kumaraswamy was the Chief Minister of the state as he took steps to waive farm loans. He said even measures were then taken to help women to become self-reliant.

JD(S) candidate Moidin Bava, Dr Amarashree, Sumathi Hegde, District JD(S) President Sadashiv Ullal. Youth JD(S) Chief Akshit Suvarna, MLC B M Farooq and others were present.
