Mangaluru, July 18, 2025: The state government on Thursday appointed Mithun H.N. as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) for the Mangaluru Commissionerate jurisdiction.

Earlier, on July 14, Jitendra Kumar Dayama, SP of the Anti-Naxal Force, was appointed to the post. However, that order has now been cancelled, and Mithun H.N. will take over the role.

Mithun H.N. previously served as the SP of the Udupi Coastal Security Police. The former DCP, Siddharth Goyal, has been transferred and appointed as the SP of Bagalkote.
