Mangalore, June 21: The JD(S) organized a district-level organizational meeting to discuss ways to strengthen the party at the grass-root level at Hotel Woodland on June 21 Tuesday.
Addressing reporters, Basavanagowda Patil Yatnal, the former union minister of state, said that the BJP’s corruption and scams have reached Lord Manjunatha of Dharmasthala. He also remarked that CM B. S. Yeddyurappa, who had promised the seer of Siddaganga Mutt that he would not give an election ticket to his son Raghavendra, has already broken his promise.
He also remarked that JD (S) leaders had known long back what state representative Dhananjay Kumar recently noted—that the CM’s mental condition is unstable.
He further said that the BJP-led state government is the most corrupt government in the history of Karnataka, adding that the CM’s sins will not be wiped away by visits to temples.
Stating that the JD (S) is weak in coastal Karnataka, he said that the party will be organized in this area to popularize and strengthen it.
JD (S) leaders M. G. Hegde, Basavaraj Horatti, Madhu Bangarappa, Dasappa, Shrinivas, Jayalakshmi Hegde, and others were also present.
