JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy visits bishop for blessings and communal harmony

Mangalore, Feb 24, 2012: After paying a visit to the Bishop’s House in Kodialbail on Feb 24 Friday, shortly after his visit to Kollur Shri Mookambika Temple to offer a Chandika Homa on the occasion of his wife’s birthday, H. D. Kumaraswamy, the JD (S) leader, commented that the BJP government has not supported the Christian community in any way during its three and a half years in power. 

The JD (S) leader visited the bishop to receive his blessings and encourage communal harmony in Karnataka.

 

 

 

 

 

Stating that the state has witnessed 20 elections so far, he said that the JD (S) has won 8 of these elections. 

Referring to the BJP government in the state as a “failure,” he said that BJP ministers stand guilty of several illegal activities and have caused great harm to the people of the state. He said that the Udupi – Chikmagalur by polls is another chance for the people to correct their mistakes and vote for the right representative. 

Flaying the BJP-led state government, he said that the CM is busy trying to solve the personal problems of his ministers and is least bothered about public issues. 

He also criticized the chief minister for spending too much time in visiting temples and said that he ought to resign instead of giving such poor governance to the people of the state.
