ICYM conducts annual general body meet

Mangalore, Jun 5: The city unit of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) conducted its general body meeting and election at Kulshekar on June 5, Sunday.

 

 

 

President Nishel D’Souza presided over the meeting, and Secretary Johnson D’Souza presented the annual report. Treasurer Prakash Fermai presented the account details. The members provided feedback for the programmes conducted that year by the ICYM. 

                                                                        
Sushil Noronha, a youth leader, inaugurated the valedictory programme. In his address, he urged the youth to grab all available opportunities and take up the responsibilities of the civilized world tomorrow.

Prameela Pinto of Vamanjoor and Anil Mendonca were felicitated for being chosen to participate in the Olympics for the differently abled. Prakash Lobo of Fermai was also honored for his contributions to Yuva Thalo, the first souvenir of the city unit of ICYM. A memento was presented to Director Rev. Fr. Arun Lobo in appreciation and gratitude for his guidance and support throughout the year.

President Nishel D’Souza expressed her thanks for the support given to her and presented the responsibilities to the next president Prakash Fermai.
