German professor to present religious seminar at KTC

Mangalore, Feb 27, 2012: Prof. Dr. Reinhold Mokrosch of Germany will present a seminar titled “Children’s Hardship,” which will be held in Bishop Jathanna Auditorium of Karnataka Theological College (KTC) in Balmatta on Feb 28 Tuesday, at 5:00 p.m. The event will be jointly organized by Mangalore Diocese Christian Chair and Karnataka Theological College. 

Announcing the above at a press conference held at Press Club today, Rev. Fr. Honey Cabral said that the seminar will focus on the relationship between young people and God. 

Further, he said that Rev. Dr. C. L. Furtado, the retired bishop, will release a book titled “Billawas and Basel Mission,” written by Ramanath Kotekar. This book deals with the Basel Mission’s efforts to bring about social change in Tulunadu with regard to education, literature, industrialization, and others. The book is around 102 pages long. 

Ramanath Kotekar, the author of the book to be released; Rev. Dr. J. B. Saldanha; and Sr. Benet were also present at the press conference.
