Frankfinn to launch new short-term courses

Mangalore August 26: Frankfinn, a training institute for air hostesses, has launched new short-term courses for graduates and II PUC students in keeping with student as well as industry requirements, Shaikh Rubina, the assistant center head of Frankfinn Mangalore said at a press conference held in the Frankfinn office at Maximum Commercial Complex on Aug 26, Thursday. 


The training institute currently offers the 3-month Frankfinn Certificate Course in Airport Ground Service and the 4-month Frankfinn Certificate Course in Aviation and Hospitality Services to prepare the students for aviation and hospitality industries. Graduates or those in their final year degree courses are eligible for these courses.

The training institute offers a 6-month intensive Frankfinn Certificate Course in Hospitality and Travel and Customer Service for II PUC students. An abridged 9-month certificate course in aviation, hospitality, and travel management worth Rs. 1 lakh will soon be introduced. A full-fledged 1-year UK’s Edexcel Certified Course BTEC HNC in aviation, hospitality, and travel management will also be made available to II PUC students.  


Briefing about Frankfinn, she said that it provides top quality training and produces the world’s number one air hostesses. Ex students of Frankfinn are now employed as cabin crew and ground staff in leading travel and hospitality organizations, she said. Providing facts and figures, she said that 20 Frankfinn students have been recruited as international cabin crew for Malaysia Airlines and 10 have been selected by NAS Air, a Saudi Arabian Airline through campus recruitment processes. Ms Rubina also said that 155 of the 232 students of the institution are already employed. The company is currently coaching 2 batches of 25 students each. 


Ms Sheela, the faculty member, and Ms Kavya Rao, the consultant, were also present during the press conference.
