Five Carmelite deacons receive Holy Orders

Mangalore, April 21: Five Carmelite deacons received Holy Orders from Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore Diocese, at Infant Jesus Shrine in Bikarnakatte on April 20 Friday.
Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, the provincial superior of the Carmelites, was also present.
The Holy Eucharist was concelebrated by Fr. Johannes Gorontca, the Carmelite provincial superior for Andhra Pradesh, Fr. Ronny Serrao, Fr. Joe Tauro, Fr. Pius James D’Souza, Fr. George Santumayor, Fr. Joseph Cardoza, Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Fr. Elias D’Souza, and others.
Fr. Deepak Tauro conducted the liturgical service. The bishop and Fr. Archibald Gonsalves congratulated the newly ordained priests and their family members.
