Mangalore, Oct 8, 2013 :  Three girls, all sixth standard students of NMPT Central School who were  reported missing since October 7, Monday, have been traced at Hubli much to relief of their  parents.

The girls namely Vishwaroopa of Suratkal, Rakshitha of Kodikal and Varshini of Kavoor who had left  home from school on Monday afternoon at 3 pm  had not returned home. A complaint was lodged with Panambur police after search for them was futile

It has now been gathered that the girls instead of going home, had boarded a bus to Hubli. People in the bus grew suspicious about their behavior and took the girls to the police station as soon as the bus reached Hubli at 3 am. The police there enquired the girls when it came to light that fear of reprimand for scoring less marks made them resort to such a step.

The police have made arrangements to send the girls back home and  they are likely to return by October 8, Tuesday evening.
