Kundapur, Nov 06, 2023: An elderly patient who was reported missing from a private hospital at Koteshwara was found dead in the lake of the Koteshwara Kotilingeshwara Temple.

The deceased is G Surendra (70), a resident of Kota. He was admitted to the hospital on November 2 following ill-health. However he was missing from the hospital on November 5, morning.

His family had searched for him in vain. Finally, the body was found in the temple lake on Sunday evening. Frustration in life owing to personal reasons is said to be reason for the extreme step.
